Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! Thankyou! the leds are white and we have discovered that when you put a led on the back side of the port, shining forward, that it lights up the screw holes in the port and the front of the port really well. We might do an RGB led there for some accent lighting! Knowledge is the greatest tool in any garage. It's also the most priceless, and most easily shared. I took some yesterday when we first turned the truck on so its very low volume. still does well. We were scared because the voltage was acting strange. It seemed like the stock alternator only charges when it wants. I contacted Mike Singer about it because I thought maybe the alt was Pcm controlled. He said it is not pcm controlled and most of the time the alts in these new fords are pretty poorly designed. It charges at 12.8 most of the time and every once in a while jumps to around 13.6. We dont want to play the amp in the 11.xx at all, so we have been nice to it until we get the new alt. So keep in mind there will be much better videos to come! I turned it up a bit today and its pretty crazy on the low note on coca cola decaf! I cant wait to get this alt in here and be able to really beat on this!
