quick tapping into speaker question

Recommended Posts

So I'm going to set up a small 3 way amp (1 channel for sub and 2 channel for front speakers) on my new car and want to use the factory deck. My question is do I use the front "midbass/tweeter" or the rears "full range" speakers

thanks. and i will be able to use the rears speakers off the deck and the fronts of the amp correct?

if i were you i would do a 4 channel for the speakers and the a mono block for the sub. as for keeping the stock head unit make sure you use a good line out converter like a lc2i or lc7i that way you don't wreak your speakers by adding bass in line

Thanks. That's what I would normally do. But i just bought a Fiat 500 and it has very limited space. and the 3channel amp I'm going to use is not very powerful at all. I'm not looking for the best sound quality I can get, I'm just looking for an affordable upgrade (200-250$ total). Once I get myself a car with more space again I will do a more proper install.

I've seen you're build on YouTube by the way. Looks good man.
