No. About 5 cubes. I don't normally run sealed boxes so before I installed it I took some measurements and ported it. Didn't play it for 5 minutes before I pulled it out

If your getting almost No output your having an amp or deck or equipment issue. If your getting Poor output it could be potentially your box saying all your equipment checks out. If you have a spair set of rcas run them over the seat see what happens before u run a new set. Also check your gians as you have to set them for every box you have the sub in as it will act differently. Also check your voltage. If non of that helps it maybe your box or lets hope the subs not blown.

Define it sounds like crap. Lack of output or the sub sounds funny?

Maybe out of phase? That is usually what happens to me I make silly mistakes at times when tired.

Try messing with the filters and gains on the amp!

Check the connection on the subs. One thing i hate about kicker is they hace their connection split up by individual post and not per set.

The box I got the sub with was sealed, I ported it with a 6" aero and it sounded bad too. Thought it was the box. The coils read right on 2phm each.

Hope it is in the amp or something simple, and not the ferrite. I have heard of motors being "demagnetized", but that is pretty rare. And easy to check, just pull the top half out, and take something metal, like a screwdriver, and see how close you can get to the gap before it grabs the screwdriver. (just make sure it's not something that will damage the pole or gap OD) If it doesn't grab it, and pretty strong like, than that is the problem.

Just another possibility, or something to check, if you can't find the problem anywhere else.
