Brian617 Posted November 2, 2013 Report Posted November 2, 2013 I seem to be having trouble finding distribution blocks that have 2/0 inputs. I got a deal on 50 feet of SGR 2/0 battery cable, so went with it. I figured instead of paying premium for good 1/0 cable, cheap 2/0 should do the trick with room to spare. I need (2) 4 awg outputs. The bare wire diameter is .51", just a hair over half an inch. I was thinking maybe a 1/0 block would have a big enough input, but I can't seem to find actual diameters of different Brand block inputs. I guess a second choice would be to use copper tubing cutters to strip the ends down to fit. Does anyone know of blocks with 2/0 inputs and (2) 4 awg outputs? Or a 1/0 input block with a greater than .51" input?

Pioneerchuck Posted November 2, 2013 Report Posted November 2, 2013 If you have a decent drill and a tap and die set you can buy blocks of aluminum for pretty cheap online and make your own blocks tailored for specifically your wires and the amount of outputs and inputs you need/want.
