I have 2 sundown x10's and only the 1 sub gets warm. ive checked the leads and everything is wired up like it should be. whats the reason only the 1 would get warm?

Are they different recones? Have you looked at the copper coils yet?

Have you checked them with a DMM? One sub might be a different ohm load...like ones a d2 and the other is a d4

doesnt matter if you ordered them both d4 however unlikely there could have been a mix up and one isnt a d4 its good to check :good:

You don't need to pull them out...just check the terminals in the back of the box...if it's off and displays some funky number...that's your problem. Like if you have a d2 and d4, i think the ohm load would be something like 2.145 or something..but if they're two d4s, wired to 1 ohm..it should display 1.01..blah blah
