Go ahead and install it in the back, do the Big 3 with 1/0, do a 1/0 positive run to the back batt from the front, and find a good ground in the back for the negative.

At least once a week, just be sure to put it on a charger to make sure the batteries get topped off since your alt won't fully charge them up.

for the 2nd battery in the do i need to run wire from the alt to that one .. or just from the alt to the front battery. .. when doing the big 3 do i need to run a fuse from the alt to the battery ?

You can fuse the alt+ to battery if you want, a lot of people don't.

Do 1/0 from alt+ to front batt+

1/0 alt casing to front batt -

1/0 front batt - to frame/strut tower

1/0 front batt+ to back batt+ with a fuse at both ends by the batteries

1/0 back batt - to frame

well that sounds pretty easy . thanks for the help. I cant wait to go and do this
