so i went to go clamp my amp last night and i got it all hooked up and nothing, not a single noise... so i tested the RCAs with a multi meter and it gave me no reading. so i uninstalled the amp and re installed my 4 channel and it works perfect.. so is this my subwoofer rca in my head unit or my amp? also the touch screen on my HU went out too so it wouldnt surprise me if it was my HU. please let me know if you have any ideas on whats wrong, thanks!

Plug the sub RCA into your 4 channel and see if it makes power.

Or

Connect a different source, like an iPod or cell phone to your amp using a 3.5 mm to RCA cable and see if it gets signal that way.

Btw, clamping doesn't put up true readings. But that's another thread I guess.

it works when its in my 4 channel, or do you mean unplug it from my 4 chan then hook it up to my mono block and leave it on either fl and fr or bl and br? and its to win a bet thats why im clamping it

he means if you have 2 sets of RCAs plug your sub rcas to the 4 channel and see if it works that way,

Also check to see if your radio has a sub output setting set to off
