Are you sanding all this by hand or do you have a sander?

Thanks Cobra! I can't wait either but sine there is more work to be done I will just get that out of the way LOL

SMZ2 I used a sander but there were too many areas I could not put proper pressure on, we ended up doing some more sanding the other guys could fit in the box better I am a large guy sitting around 245 so hard for me to fit LOL

yeah without a sander that would take forever! I've tried sanding a big box before... then I went and bought a sander lol.

Looks like the photo upload works from here at work... So let's get back up the speed on progress. Days are blending and it has been like 3 or 4 days since I updated so things in my head are a bit sketchy on when they happened but as I remember and I am sure I am leaving things out.

We started off doing more layers of fiberglass over the passenger side hole, we got 2 very thick layers on back and 3 layers on front total of 5 so it should be very strong. Had to sand more there were some areas my 240 pound big ass could not get to, even in a huge enclosure when your shoulders and chest are really wide small areas suck. Eli showed up to help so since we is young and smaller he climbed inside the enclosure and sanded the back areas I could not reach well.

Then on to the painting we found the smurf village and well it was a true massacre, you see the SPL fairies demanded blood so we killed every smurf and used their blood as paint (you will see in pics). They came back and said that is not good enough and demanded more and so I had to share my own, same freaking night I slit my hand across a screw and scraped the back of my hand on something shared a tiny bit of blood with my headliner then covered it with bandage and went back to work. Blood has now been shed and the SPL fairies were satisfied. Put down several coats of paint like 2 or 3 everywhere and 4 in the port I think it gets blurry lots of work. Next was the baffle we got both sides done. Test fitted the subs, they all fit and called it a night.

Came back the next day well later that day I should say all nighter once again. We got the front baffle built and holes made for the all thread.

Next day since the batteries are where the all thread needs to come out we had to countersink the back we got that done and began vinyl. The vinyl went really well except me fucking up on my side. At the bottom I cut in too close and when I wrapped it a tiny bit of mdf was showing. Oh I nearly raged all that work and an imperfection oh hell no. I took some of the remaining vinyl cut a slit that looked close to fitting and slapped some contact cement on it and spent 10 minutes making it look right. Andrew was like "no one will ever see that it is at the bottom and the seat covers it". I said but I know it is there fuck what everyone else sees likes or does not like! After all these build should be about what we feel not approval of others and fixing it made me feel better inside.

After the vinyl we got the all thread in place and locked down, then made holes for the speaker wire in the back. Got 2 subs in and was 9 PM Sunday night I had to get up at 4:30 this morning so called it quits. Oh almost forgot we got the bus bars drilled and one is also counter sunk.

We have to build the back and I have to figure out how I want to lay it out, we figure Friday we do an all nighter and maybe a little Saturday and we will be done. Sunday is the show so in 5 weekends we will have finished an entire wall build.
