SICKSPD Posted January 29, 2014 Author Report Posted January 29, 2014 well I'm now set on rebuilding the box. after advice from several people I've come to the conclusion that excessive port is whats causing most of my problems. heres what the new one will be built too. It will have a slight bit more net volume and a lower tuning with a smaller port so these subs should perform much better than they are at the moment. Apparently my miscalculation has led me to having a box that is actually tuned to 42 hz.
