bassman619
Posting in the amp section because I think thos may be an amp problem.. got a 15" fosgate t2 and a memphis mc1.1500 amp. Ive had this in the car for a while. And I was getting a smell from the sub. Well what I did was move my input sensitivity switch from 1x to 10x and the bass turned down. So I reset the gain and left the filters set how they were subsonic at about 30-31htz..lpf at about 80htz and on some songs the bass pauses for literally 1 second or less.. like on young jeezy- put on. I can figure out what it is.. it was doing this before. Voltage is good. All connections are tight. All power and ground ring terminals soldered solid. Ground has good continuity. 0 guage wire ..idk wtf is goin on..lookin for some ideas where to start.. think its the source? Im playing from an ipod touch. So no way the data could have gotten messed up. Its only on songs that have hardly any pause between bass drops.
