I don't think I've seen it done like that before. What year F250 and what's the overall dimensions of the enclsoure? I was thinking about a 4 12 4th in my 94 f 350 in the future. I don't think i'll do the plexi because this is still an experiment. Once I know this box works I might. Yeah the studs are pretty badass, they have a wood side and a reg machine side and i put them in with Gorilla glue. I used them because I'm a dumbass and couldn't find the threaded inserts but I think for that application they might work better. the dems are 30 x 50.5 x 17 and those would work in your truck because Ford doesn't change anything between those years except the front clip. though the 17" should be more like 16.5 but I knew I was making the front thick because of the top.
