repooc
I have had four 12 MMats pro for a few years now and I figured it was time to build a box for them. I'm putting them in my F250 and porting into the cab from the bed. It should have good range and produce a good amount of wind. We will see.The beginning The SUPER DUTYThe Hair TrickerThe Battle 8s MyTube on YouTube

vetkilr01
That should play nicely...how big is port? How much power is gonna go on them?
repooc
Port is 6x18.5 and I have a MMats 1500.5 that has been worked by MMats. Should be 400+ each if I get the correct juice to them. The SUPER DUTYThe Hair TrickerThe Battle 8s MyTube on YouTube
repooc
So to make a perfect fit and be able to still remove the top for mounting I tripled the face of the box. This will also eliminate vibration being transfered to the bed front, maybe. I did some testing with my SMD IM-SG and it peaked around 36hz. Hopefully it will not roll off to soon before and after that Frenquency. Going to stuff some scrap in the chamber tonight to see what it does to that number. Some real world testing. scooter99
Very nicely done. Are you planning to plexi the top there? Also how did you put those studs in the wood? Threaded inserts? I don't think I've seen it done like that before. What year F250 and what's the overall dimensions of the enclsoure? I was thinking about a 4 12 4th in my 94 f 350 in the future.
