DubNDodge
Lol in all honesty just drop the 6x9s. Just get some good doors speakers and be set. I never really saw what the hype was with putting speakers on the sub box. I understand in this scenario why you want to, but still. Hopefully you are watching the prices of subs this weekend. Won't find these prices again for awhile '01 Dodge Stratass Sealed Trunk Build Log 2008 Honda Fit Sport Build Log On 10/3/2013 at 10:00 AM, ROLEXrifleman said: Anyone who says they knew everything they wanted out of life at 19 can go suck a bag of dicks cause they are lying to themselves or brought up in a cult. Guest
you're already small on the box without the 6x9's. you'll be choking the woofers with 6x9's in the box partitioned off. edit: you dont need rear speakers if you have good front speakers. Greasemonkey2014
Hes decided that he wants one SD 12 so ther esould be plenty of room for just 1 right?
Guest
Hes decided that he wants one SD 12 so ther esould be plenty of room for just 1 right? ported sd 12 is 2 cubes. he'll have like exactly 2 after sub and port displacement using the numbers i had earlier. absolutely no point in having 6x9's where they'll be smothered by the seats. it wont help his situation either that he has literally 0 space that can be sacrificed to do shit like that lol. Miguels
put the 6x9 on the door.. why put them behind the seat where the bass and the seats will block all the highs and mids.. would be like throwing a pillow over them my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Greasemonkey2014
ok i think we got it figured out 2 4" midrange speakers mounted up high for listening to country and music with no bass. Either 2 e-10s or 2 sd 10s depending on which is better and if its worth the price difference. Rockford Fosgate prime 1200.1 and a custom ported box If i use a 5" round aero port where do i put it. If i put it on the side i feel like it will hit the driver. Could i use 2 ports half the size? Will the seem to hit harder if the ports are out in the open. if it is on the side i feel like it would make nise since the port (if on the side) would be around 1 inch from the wall of the truck.
