03 Xtreme Fosgate
I wouldn't use the polks or the kickers, polk is garbage IMO & Kicker is wayyy overrated. save up a little more,he should be able to get decent subs & a mono amp for around $500.. check out the WTB/for sale thread here on the forum to see if someone has anything you could use. walwalka
If he's looking to stay in that budget, I would get yourself one of these Audio Technix amps before they are gone. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audio-Technix-400-1-amp-amplifier-400w-RMS-1000w-MAX-Class-D-1-ohm-stable-/111053254611?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item19db4a2fd3 and two of these SoundQubed 8's. It should be around 500w rms, if not a little more.. It will sound really good. http://www.soundqubed.com/NEW-Street-Duty-HDS108-Subwoofer_p_69.html 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
Greasemonkey2014
The mounting depth must also be less than 5 3/4 inches to fit in a box for behind the seat so the soundqubed will not fit.

Guest
ah. well soundqubed woofers are not meant for sealed boxes whatsoever. but they are the business when it comes down to playing music. you can look at sundown woofers. or Fi if your buddy likes the idea of having a USA in-house machined and built woofers
