Trayten Posted November 25, 2013 Report Posted November 25, 2013 Hello friends.. I'm searching for a battery and to be honest I have no clue what to look for in a battery! If anyone needs to know my equipment: 1 DC XL 15 2 DQ 1200d.1 amps 4 gauge wire Like I said I'm not really sure what to look for in batteries.. But I really think I could use another one lol. My electrical is pretty weak as far as I know. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted November 25, 2013 Report Posted November 25, 2013 I would get an XS power d3100, 2 would be better but 1 should work fine. I would also get rid of the 4 guage and step up to some 1/0 ofc. You should also do the big 3 if you haven't yet and think about getting an h/o alt. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Trayten Posted November 25, 2013 Author Report Posted November 25, 2013 Yeah all of those are in my future plans. I went on droppin hz car audio and looked at batteries, and I didn't see the d3100.. But a new battery and a big 3 is a definite upgrade when I learn how to do that stuff. afrakes Posted November 25, 2013 Report Posted November 25, 2013 There's a tutorial in the electrical section of this forum o how to do the big 3. There's also a bunch of threads related to this topic. Do some research and then ask ur remaining questions if anything doesn't quite make sense.
