zack_e89 Posted November 27, 2013 Report Posted November 27, 2013 I got this alternator: https://www.dcpowerinc.com/fit/2005~Chevrolet~Suburban~5.3L-V8/8237-320-spx-i.html#tab-vehicle_fits It's for my 2005 Suburban, 5.3 V8. The plug in connection isn't right. I think the delco-plug has an extra wire going to it for the engine on signal that the bosch style doesn't have. I should just get a plug to convert it, right? This won't affect anything? 97 Suburban 8 custom PSI Platform 3 18's
Guest DC Power Kyle Posted November 27, 2013 Report Posted November 27, 2013 Please provide a picture of what you're talking about by showing the plug that is in the vehicle versus the one you got from us.

zack_e89 Posted December 2, 2013 Author Report Posted December 2, 2013 Cheers to DC Power for great customer service. Got everything taken care of .....aaaaaand someone has a dual bracket on the way now!! edit: Just to clarify, the mistake with the alternator was mine when I bought it on here and didn't double check everything. Live and learn, right? Should've just called them in the first place. 97 Suburban 8 custom PSI Platform 3 18's
