DC Power 320 SPX-i for 2005 suburban

It's for my 2005 Suburban, 5.3 V8. The plug in connection isn't right. I think the delco-plug has an extra wire going to it for the engine on signal that the bosch style doesn't have. I should just get a plug to convert it, right? This won't affect anything?

edit: Just to clarify, the mistake with the alternator was mine when I bought it on here and didn't double check everything. Live and learn, right? Should've just called them in the first place.
