alaskanzx5
Yeah upgrade time starting with where you shop lol. I would start with a new sub. Dual voice coil dd is a good choice. Then the box to a custom box. Amp and wiring after that. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. funnyent
Thanks for the replys everyone. So since the amp is underpowered, would it be ok to turn the gain up more? Or will that just cause dirty power to enter the speaker?
alaskanzx5
The Loewe the better on the gain really. I mean you can turn it up as long as you make sure it not clipping/distorting by but a hu with higher pre out voltage will make it possible to run the gain lower with great out put and sound better then an hu with low voltage pre out voltage. I have 5 volt pre outs and gain set with a dd1 it looks like the gain is all the way down with great output still. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
