radar detector is useless unless the police officer has his radar on or is pulling the trigger on the laser gun. i dont see how this can prevent sound tickets at all.

Well the other day, the car next to me was pumping his music loud at a red light (no bass just highs). I was tempted to full blast mine but my radar detector was telling me there was a cop in my lane behind me so I didn't do that
