I cant really afford new subs atm but I can afford to recone the one lol. But yeah I have been driving around playing the one that's still in there and its perfectly fine. Coil is still shiny too.

If money is an issue then reconing just the one is only going to make your wallet hurt more in the long run..

The subs will take the power decently as long as I'm not clipping and I'm careful. You gotta keep in mind I'm also in a tiny enclosure with terrible rise. So I'm not

Getting 15k. I have ran 3k per coil to these subs before for months with no problems. I'll recone the one and see what happens. If its still not working out then I'll get

New subs. Probably 99's. But reconing one isn't too bad.

Wo I ended up ordering recones for both subs. Turns out one sub has had a blown coil for months. Way before the 15k. The second recone should be here soon. Once I get it playing again I will not only get some vids up of it, but, I guess ill meter it lol. I want to but I don't want to be disappointed. I know its at least a 150 though. And if it meter that I will be happy. Also I have decided on what I'm doing for a rebuild. But that will be revealed later. Anyways, I'll post updates when I get it playing again.

So got the subs recones and playing today. Thanks to bump4life for all the help. DD1'd to -5 (was goanna do 0 but I didn't have that track) then backed it off a good amount. Some songs I would say are just as loud as before and I can play for much longer. However, my bandwidth is gone. Before almost every song was loud. Now only a couple are. I'm not worried about that though because these recones are stiff as hell. Like, I can barely move them from pushing them. The old ones were 2 years old so they were much looser. Once they break in all that will change. But I'm happy with it. Subs are taking it to well. I have a bit more work to do tomorrow though so ill try and take pics of it all. Anyways, stay tuned for that

Lol. It was a crazy idea I had. I wont go into details but the rebuild will be a c pillar v2. I figured out how I can get like 2-3 more cubes.
