Need some box help

Just ordered 2 HDS312 subs. The website says 3.5-5 cubic feet is the best for 2 12's. I figured bigger, is the best way to go. Now this is the space i have to work with

35 width x 28 depth

41 width x 23 depth

52 width x 10 depth

Thats max possible dimensions. It would be nice to not have the height above 15 but I for sure could go higher if needed since im putting this in a hatchback. Any ideas on what I could do?

Bigger ported boxes sound different than smaller boxes, whether you think its better or not depends on the application.

You should post amp and vehicle models. If you want the most output out of them the largest box possible is the way to go.
