I did use the mic and let the system do it. You are a buying fool my friend! By this weekend you will have everything in and sounding good if Q-Logics show up. Just ordered lowing springs for the lancer. Had to buy a spring compressor set to build new spring strut & shock set up. 1.5" lowing kit. Plan to get front end taken care of first. All I had to do was cut out the plastic grill on the pod and I was able to thread the JBL tweeter mount right into them. PERFECT!! Now I just hope they sound good. They way you change them out you might need them. lol They look good in there, hopefully they sound good and are the ones you want. With tuning you should be able to get almost any pair to sound good unless they are metal tweeters, usually there are harsh to my ears, Silk dome sounds best to me. Its crazy cause the ebay seller is here in seattle and on the same street I am working on right now. I drove by a couple weeks ago and its a residence. I was going to stop in and buy a couple more just in case. bcbrassard Posted February 12, 2017 Report Share Posted February 12, 2017 Sounds clean and clear to me. Plenty of Highs coming from those sail pods. I personally think you only need 1 set of tweeters and that seems to be a great location for now fabricating. Going to be really really nice with a bit extra mid from the kick panels when they show up. Great job man, way to transform a banging system into a well rounded clean system.
