gattiboy13 Posted December 6, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2013 Problem fixed he placed a new battery in and all readings were great sitting at 2200 cranking amps and 1000 cold cranking amps. The one put in before was sitting on shelves so long it was dead pretty much. And yes I guess you can cut power wire and solder larger wire to it. No. What should have been done was get the proper size battery for your location so that the stock wiring would reach. OR Just go ahead and do the big 3 upgrade, assuming that you make a new run to the fuse/relay center if needed. And then tape up any raw ends and zip tie them so they aren't loose in the engine bay.
