Brent Anderson Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 when i was looking at the Crescendo Audio BC3500D i just realized i can't just do this by ear for the time since the bloody thing only has its min and max on all the gain, subsonic(what is that btw?) bass boost LPF and phase. i looked on smd site and i see he has a smd distortion detector. would that be the only thing i need to just set it up?
hazestorm23 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 The dd-1 and cc-1 would make it so simple but there is other ways people set them up with oscilloscope and what not. I personally bought a dd-1 because I was always worried about distortion going to my subs and not even getting the full power of my amp. Subsonic has to be set around the same frequency that your ported box is tuned to I think, someone can help you better with that I'm sure
