lolitskasey
I was wondering if anyone has experience with cisco 1941 routers, having some problems with the serial port flapping. Shoot me a pm if you have any experience with these routers. Thanks, Kasey
UMDSmith
Post your config? Other people have said this issue is a defective cable from the smart jack to the interface. I don't do much with Cisco routers as I moved from networking to Sys Admin a few years ago.
lolitskasey
Thanks for the reply I got the port to stop flapping with the command keep a lives. But can't get the radios to pass traffic to the routers. I called the radio manufacture and told them what I needed to do that just laughed. They said even in you try to ssh into the radios you will bring down the whole network. You know it's bad when you have two radios set up in a test lab and you get 500ms ping when the antennas are 10 feet from each other.
