OrionStang
Ok guys, using the recommendations from Parts Express and the Dayton Ultimax 12", the port ends up being less than 5" per cube. Is it normal for port area to be less in a home setup than in a car? I need 4 cubes net tuned to 20hz, but not sure on port area. Using Torres to get a general idea. fox_racin4
This is semi irrelivant but may help. I did a box for 2 18" BTLs for my basement, 24cubes with 3 10" sono tubes for ports. On 100rms ( maybe less) i was doing a 134ish at 25hz where i was sitting. 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
CleanSierra
How much airspace are you planning on giving it Ken? The sub only needs X amount of port, regardless of what airspace it's in. With that tuning, I come up with around 20" of port. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. I've come up with a design that is 21.75" of port. Guess ill start there. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
