Bibby, Chevy, I Need Your Opinions

Ok i want to get one of the 8th gen civics, probably the 06. what is your guys opinions on them? others feel free to post your opinions too.

dude, i love mine! it is hands down the best car i have ever owned. its quiet(road noise), has plenty of power, stylish. The possibilities are endless. The car is so fun to drive, i cant wait to add wheels/drop to it. Also, as with most civics, there is a whole community dedicated to the 8thgens. www.8thcivic.com. They are helpful, and have a ton of DIY's there. From adding HID's, to running power wire to your trunk. The car is overall a little bigger than my previus civic, and that took some getting used to. I recently went and saw one of my friends with a crx, and that tiny hass thing made my civic look like a fickin crown vic. it was crazy. VTEC in that thinbg was a whole diff world too tough. Dude, i would say get one, but you may wanna go test drive one first. i didnt even hesitate, being a previus civic owner, i knew its what i wanted, then after i drove one, it was on!

Cool man thats what i like to hear lol. im also a little hesitate because im not a fluent manual driver i've driven manual cars and now how to and all just i dont drive one everyday lol. but thats what im looking for is a manual civic. how the clutch location?

what do you mean how the clutch location? i love the car. there is road noise, dont let bibby fool u lol. but there will always be road noise. stock tires suck and thats what causes a lot of it. once i sound deaden it though, i shouldnt hear anything.

also, its my first manual car/truck too. i pretty much learned on this car. its fun to drive and kind of "torquey" for being a little 4 cylinder.

its a great car though. you seen how good they look with rims ( ) and its got plenty of room in it too! the sedans trunk is nice and big for being a small car. idk about the coupe. also leaves you plenty of room for that supercharger too under the hood

About the clutch im talking about does it seem inconvenient. more like is it a pain in the ass to lift your foot up and hit it and all. And your car looks good man! Im still not sure if im getting one or not. and when. Oh and the road noise thing... im getting used to it because riding without a rear seat i hear just about every little thing possible hitting under the car back there lol.

personally the only civic id get is the new two door SI...my buddy got one for graduation (lucky guy) i like it a lot...its that dark maroon color, manual

clutch is fine for me. and like i said, this is my first manual car. i like it. ive been to orlando quite a few times already in stop and go. gets tiring but w.e. i like being able to shift when I WANT TO and dropping it down YOURSELF to pass someone or something. its nice to be in control. damn autos lol
