then theres nothing he CAN do except deaden the fuck out of absolutely everything because everything will rattle in the trunk since it will be hard for the pressure to get inside the cabin.

I completely agree. Same reason why I gave the op his options. It's up to him but his system will suffer greatly with the rear seats up and rear deck sealed.

Here's my misses

The amp is on rear of box accesses through the ski hole

For that clean look

And spare tyre is not affected as box is 9" deep

It's no spl monster on 400rms but it proves a point, (had it on 750rms) but the reaction waserent the same

i dont want to get rid of my seats but i dont mind porting the deck. i was just curious as to how people set upt their trunks ie sub/port orientation. my trank rattles so damn much. i do have the entire trunk lined with qmat but it still makes a ton of noise.
