trumpet1
Rear fill as generated by a surround sound upmixer(requires a processor that does Logic 7, Dolby PLII, or the like) can be very enjoyable as an addition to a great front speaker setup. I would never recommend sacrificing on the front speakers in order to do rear fill, and if you do choose rear fill just use a good low cost pair of coaxials. They won't be putting out much sound. BlkRamRt
IMO I would say what ever you spend on rear speakers just put that towards a better SQ 3 way system for up front. i got to listen to a couple of SQ cars the other day and none of them had rear fill and it sounded awsome. 2012 Ram R/T RF p500-4 RF - t1500-1bdcp - RF t252s - RF p132 - RF wiring all around - Kicker cvr's (x2)
rick1987
Is it a bad idea to run the rear fill straight off the deck? Possibly with a switch so I could shut them down when I want to run full power to the fronts? I will be using a old Zapco 350x2 for the front stage and will be running a Hertz hi energy 2 way up front.
White Lightning
No, It is not a problem at all to run your rears straight off of the radio power rear speaker outputs ... Jessica
If you wanted to put the rear stage on an amp you could always get a pac lc1 to control the volume of them instead of using the fader. Just an idea. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work.
