RatBass1998 Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 just as it says the lms is on 3k and the Q's on 1.5 each so thats 3k on the same vfl 200.1 at 1 ohm what would be louder? i know the Ultra sounds better but would the Q's sound good for daily on 1.5k each? EDIT: its in a escort wagon so its small and gets pretty loud and this is all on a very stout electrical... the amp could even run .5 ohms daily 15" LMS Ultra AB VFL 200.1 3kw+ rms@ 1 ohm <-- 500.1 in near furture 3.5 cubes at 34 hertz 2 Exide Orbital's 200 Amp EA Alt 125 sq ft BXT

The Q's you could get brand new for like 275 or so from FI, they would sound great and have great SQ. IF you wanted LOUDER with good SQ, you could always get the RE XXX 15's. I'm sure those would get louder than 2 Q's and LOUDER than one LMS with great SQ as well. I had the 2004 model RE XXX and the SQ was out of this world. I am sure the new stuff is even better, the price on the XXX's is the thing you need to consider, they aren't cheap. Official Scores at the Dash. and YES.
