Hertz_dont_it Posted January 9, 2014 Report Posted January 9, 2014 It's my buddies system, vfl 80.1 and two 15"xd's. I originally hooked it all up. With him only having one run of kicker 4ga I figured id wire each sub to 2ohm and run them separately to the amp because I didn't think he had the electrical to be running them at one ohm. I had the gain about 1/4 up bass boost all the way down when I installed it. He comes to me and says his subs dont work so I checked all the wires. Put a multi meter to the rca's only one had any output and it was like .14 the other was zero. He was in a hurry so I couldn't check the back of the stereo. But the rcas are hooked up on rhe back I just couldn't get the multi meter to it. Is it the rcas or the amp? Current system:Front stage: Alpine type s 6.5No rear:Alpine type s 6.5headunit: alpineAmp: Jbl bp600.1 Sub: Alpine type x 12 dont know much about them. Found a "FLUX" Capacitor on ebay. If I add this to my system, can I really travel into the future? And how far into the future? That probably all depends on how I ground it though, right?Dude dont even waste your money on capacitors get a second car battery preferably a kinetik or stinger or any other car audio battery use the battery that is correct for your systems true rms wattage do some research on the net for this. Oh and I just looked at his settings on the amp.
