CodyLucente
Hi so i will be setting my gains with my new subs with an oscilloscope finally and was wondering what a good frequency to use? i have the RoE website http://www.realmofexcursion.com/downloads.htm and i don't have a custom box ported to a certain tone... YET. and was wondering what a good test tone would be or how to choose the appropriate tone for my subs? Or is there a universal tone good for all like 40Hz Subs= SoundQubed HDC3.112 Amps= Audio Technix1200.1, Sony XM4x40 & Clarion XC1410 Rear= Pioneer 6"x9" coaxial Front= Polk 6 1/4 componants Trunk Lid= Pioneer 6 1/4 coaxil Battery= Optima Yellow-top (front) Shrunken 35AH Wire= 0/2 AWG welding Cable! Turboelky
Don't know what subs your running, but there's usually a manufacturer recommended tone. Usually 40-50hz.
RooTxBeeR
Just use a 40hz tone and youll be fine. I would say us 0db or -5 track. RooTxBeeR
Tune with a 40hz tone when setting a amplifier for your subs. No matter what set up, no matter what sub type.
