duece9s
Hey chaps, I'm thinking im going to need a second batt. Currently pushing 800+ Rms with my L7( soon to be installed from previous vehicle) and i plan on adding a second amp to power speakers/tweeters with about 500RMS. The original batt is located in the spare tire well with some sort of venting mechanism shown here Luckily i believe there is space next to this for a second battery. Do i need to worry about gasses in this trunk with a proper sealed car audio battery. Need Batt reccomendations, as well as what hardware i need to connect to the two. Car has 105A alt and electric power steering.. 06 saturn ion 1 12" L7 ported box http://www.imagebam.com/image/d02e9a536031108 sony 9001GTR ( 10+ years strong for all you haters) speakers- Kicker 40CSS654(front)/ 40CS654 (rear) Mid Amp: Hifonics Brx 640.4 @ 4 ohm 4 gauge Stock batt + XS power XP950 in the back
mmets
Biggest battery you can fit. I prefer XS Power but there are others out there that are nice also. When hooking up the other battery just make sure you fuse it. You can search the forums for that. There are plenty on here. Also would do the big three and run 1/0 gauge off the alternator to your back battery. May be better off though just doing a high output alternator first though. May be a little more money but will benefit you in the future if you plan on adding more power. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)

mmets
I'm not sure so don't take my word on this here but if you are not planning on hooking up anything else you may be able to just replace your stock battery with a better battery. You can check out the XS Power sponsor section and they have a graph there that will show you what each battery is good for on wattage. That it not the bible though but a good place to start. You can also check out their site and find out what battery is a direct replacement for your vehicle also. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)
