95legwagon Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 just soldered my 1/0 terminals and the guy @ the store i buy my terminals at told me to try tommy tape. not sure if yall have ever heard of it. google it. way easier than heatshrink, cheap, waterproof, good up to 500 degrees f and electric shock proof. just tryed it and so far its way easier than heatshrink. doesnt look as pretty but CAN if i tried a little harder to get it perfect. comes in red and black. i got red because pos. run is clear. OH and it also doesnt leave a residue if removed. it can be used for alot of stuff but i figure i'd put it out there for an easier alternative to heatshrink. link: http://www.tommytape.com/ i got 10 feet 1" wide for 6.99 but can get it cheaper online. was going to get heatshrink but for 3 ft it was $4. i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
