I hear that it does 1200rmsx1 2ohms is that under rated or over rated? just need some opinions on it becouse ive got a new vehicle 99 dakota r/t ex cab and wondering if that amp and the newest audioqued sdc2 12"s would work good on the amp I want the best bang for the buck on subwoofers ----------- no more blazer------------- New ride 2000 s10 ext cab xtreme zq8 v4a 4.3 jba headers,pcm4less tuned,nv3500 5spd,8.5" diff,ported/polished heads makes good daily driver not a racecar lol system: pioneer 7200hd deck,kenwood kfc708 with jl xd400.4 stinger 2gauge wire mtx thunder 1501d custom built box myself ported 3.13 slot port 40hz (2) 10" re audio sexv2d2- may do sxx upgrade soon after tune the sex first kicker 4x6 cs dash.
hazestorm23 Posted January 22, 2014 Report Posted January 22, 2014 1200 at 2 ohms with 14.4v . And 900 at 2 ohms with12.5 v. And that's cheap for what they usually sell at . It should at least do rated and make sure you get the subs at a friendly impedance for this amp if you get it. I have seen countless times jl amps give out when wired at lower ohms then recommended
