Flatsfisher8 Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 A guy offered me two DC xl m2 15s for two dc m3 8s and he wants $150, Now again, i have an extended cab ranger, so its going to take every possible inch of space that i have. But this is 4 m3 8s or 2 xl m2 15s, which do yall think i'll be happier with in my circumstances? I'm powering these with an saz3500

Think about how much room you want to take up in your truck. I have a range with 4 15's in a blowthrou , can't spell sorry . Both are going to sound good and 8's these day are unreal what they can do. Done right them 8's will sound like 15's. As said think on like and you make up you mine because your the one that has to live with it.
Flatsfisher8 Posted January 25, 2014 Author Report Posted January 25, 2014 Only thing im thinking, is if i get the 15s, i'll have the other two 8s to just sell or use as midbass down the road or who knows, and i think i'm fair powered for either set up, i may go ahead and get the 15s If i do the 15s i'll have my self pre setup to add more down the road considering i just bought an ARE shell for my truck, just has to be painted black then i'll be looking at blowthrough options Lemme look up ft^3 specs and mounting depths on the xls real fast
