xtech Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 I got a 2010 nissian titan quad cab with the 2/3 splitting back seat and want to build a box for the 1/3 part.. i Recently had 2 Comp 12's in a vented kicker box with 6" side firing port with box on end and port firing upword powered by a MRP-M500 500rms amp... i would like to build a box with the L3 15' with mabye room to upgrade with a second L3 in the future by just cutting a second hole? i will also purchase a second mrp-m500 for the second sub or will upgrade amp all together.id like the tune tobe somewhere from late 30's to mid 40's as i like dubstep and artists like tech n9ne
jarrius Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Need mesuments man. Also imo if you already have the 1L3 just run it with the amp you have. When you want to upgrade i would not run 1 amp per sub, its much easer to run 1 amp for the 2. Also imo i would not buy a secod L3 for the price of the L3 (140) you can get a much better 15 that can handel alot more power and will sound better. http://www.soundqubed.com/HDS315_p_229.html But its your choice if thats what you want let us know we can point out a good amp for what ever you chose. Edit: also for a box that can house both properly but only run 1 for now i feel could damage the first sub because it will be way to big for the 1. Joe X Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 You have enough space for two L315 subs in those dimensions, if you want to add a second sub later you will need to do the box on separate chambers and you will have a large empty chamber until you get the second sub, also you need two of those amps.
