splbeast
Please help me! I have two Type R 15's on two Soundstream PCA2000D's. When I hook up the amps to the subs, its not loud at all, but when i hook up both subs to one amp it hits really hard? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote T.S.P. Thewes
what kinda voice coils are ur subs and what are those amps rated at? sounds like an impedence problem to me (ohm load problem). I had a somewhat similar problem man and It wasn't impedance because I was running one FI BL on my sundown 1500 and when I added my second sub/amp to the system (box is double chambers) it did not sound loud at all. Maybe your electrical just cant power both amps?

techaninna
I'm sure you know what your doing but double check your polarities. Also hook one sub to the amp... then unhook it and hook the same sub up to the other amp, then try it with the other amp. That'll tell you if its an amp issue or at least help you isolate the issue.
