  1. navy579 and I traded some items and I have no complaints. Trader was very responsive and descriptions and photos were accurate. I Wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.
  2. I think what c-fizzy is saying is that the number of subs doesn't determine the need for alts and batteries. The amount of current draw from amplifiers determines the alts and batteries quantity.
  3. What are your stats? Height, age, and weight? You need to calculate your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and go from there. Below is what I used as my primer diet... Its high protein low carb and moderate fats. Protein is the ONLY building block, carbs and fats are purely energy. I used this primer diet when I was 230 and about 13%bf Calories Protein Carbs Fats 8:00 Protien Coffee 1 Scoop of Protien 150 16 9 6 11:30 Can of tuna 100 22 1 2 1 boiled egg white 17 4 0 0 1/2 tbsp of mayo 50 0 0 5 1tbsp of mustard 0 0 0 0 3:00 6oz grilled chicken 276 54 0 6 2oz no yolk noodles 210 8 41 0.5 6:30 6 oz lean ground beef 228 36 0 6 1/4 cup cheese 100 6 0 8 PWO 2 scoops of whey 270 40 11 7 1/2 cup plain oats 150 6 27 2.5 Bedtime Casein Shake Smoothie 2 Scoop Casien 240 48 6 2 2tbsp Natty PB 190 7 7 16 Kroger Carb Control Yogert 80 12 4 1.5 Calories 2061 Pro 259 Carbs 106 Fats 62.5
  4. I plan on going if I can get done bagging my truck by then. Also hope to have a little system done by then. As far as what class you'll be in.. I think unless the rules have changed if you are below the window line you'll be super street no wall if you are above the window line you'd be super street 1-2. Again I've been out of competing for a couple years now but that's how i remember it.
  5. What type of glue is used to attach the top plate. Also can I get pricing on two lvl 3 12 recones, feel free to PM, or if you'd rather me e-mail you that's fine too.
  6. I apologize but where do you get an alignment tool? Is it made or bought? Again excuse my ignorance but I have no experience with rebuilding subs though I am interested in learning. Also what type of glue is used to glue the top plate to the magnet I wouldn't think CA glue but I could be wrong?
  7. I sold my DC LVL3 12s to a friend he has had them hooked up in a box I built for a couple years now (I know they are out of warranty). Anyways he called me the other day saying the subs were sounding really weird and barely hitting. Evidently the sub below disassembled itself and pulled the positive and negative out of the push downs which caused the other sub to play in the box built for two now it sounds distorted even in a single 12 box. I have not had time to test the other sub myself. I am just curious as to what causes this and is it repairable?
  8. You might be able to go down to your post office and see if they can cancel the delivery and send it back.... I'm not sure
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-RANGER-BLK-LED-HEAD-LIGHTS-BUMPER-TURN-SIGNAL-4PC-/130583952682?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ARanger|Make%3AFord|Year%3A1998&hash=item1e6768fd2a#ht_5559wt_1165 Personally I like this little combo... you can opt to hook up the leds or not
  10. To be honest I just recently got out of audio to focus on my career and family. I recently ran into a guy I built an enclosure for here in my little town, and he told me he got a 5 page spread in Mini Truckin. He then told me they did a pic of the enclosure and he put my name on it, I was super pumped so I ran out and bought a copy of the magazine. I know it was more luck than anything but its just crazy to see my work and name in a decently big magazine. I just wanted to share it with someone!!! Anyways here are the build pics and a picture out of the magazine its the January 2011 edition of Mini Truckin. Before I got started with this truck here is what was in it. so I started with these. Then Wanted flush mount. Test fitting subs and getting something going. Wrapped with fleece Seeing what it would look like Glass Couple steps later Before paint Close up in Mini Truckin...
  11. That could be the problem... Try setting your amp with that at 0 I know my Kenwood x891 doesn't starts clipping until volume 30 with the subwoofer at +11 or volume 31 and + 9 on the subwoofer.
  12. Clipped input would be source (head unit) into amp Clipped output would be amp out
  13. Unless you have some really good connections true HGH is going to be hard to find. There are many research facility's out there that will assist you on what ever you need but that cost money as well. Do your research and don't be afraid to ask your doctor questions, your doctor should be honest with you and answer any questions you have with your best interest in mind. There are many places to find research chemicals find a reputable one.... I have never ordered research chemicals before..... https://www.muscle-research.com/Catalog-All-Peptides_1.aspx READ THE DISCLAIMER.... 14. I found this site awhile back but it basically shows where each carrier has a cell equipment registers with the FCC. Over on the right hand side you will see links to the individual sites for actual coverage maps but don't trust their maps as I know for a fact that the coverage is not accurate for verizon or Sprint. Most published coverage maps don't include clutter data or even if they do its only 30 meter clutter data. Which is basically just medium and large groups of trees, and whats called Urban build up in which signal lost is calculated very loosely. The best advice is just ask people in your area their personal experience with a specific carrier. http://www.deadcellzones.com/coveragemaps.html
  15. Verizon is going to be releasing the "droid" in November and so far it is being portrayed as the Iphone killer- who knows I'd wait for actual user reviews As xxx24xxx stated Iphones are made for a different radio technologies (CDMA and GSM) so no Iphone on verizon. I recently viewed a Power point presentation from a Site Engineer that works for verizon with a time table for their 4G (LTE-long term evolution), and it was slated for sometime in 2010. This also means all carriers will have a "4G" solution or equivalent with 6 to 12 months. So the good speeds will only get better.
  16. According to the 2009 DB-Drag rules.... 2-2 All of the woofers in a vehicle (10 inches and larger) will be counted when determining what class a competitor should compete in. Additional Guidelines: * Every woofer in an Isobaric or Compound configuration shall be counted. * Hidden woofers (such as those found in Bandpass enclosures) shall be counted. * Passive radiators, ports, and vents are not considered to be woofers, and therefore will not be counted as such. * If the largest speaker in the contestant's sound system is smaller than 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter, then all of the speakers that are being used to produce bass shall be treated as woofers.
  17. wow these look beastly.... cant wait to see this build
  18. The IT job pool is getting thinner and the IT employment pool is getting deeper, too many qualified experienced people and not enough high paying jobs out there. I started out doing Network Administration and have switch to more of an RF engineering position due to job market. With all the cutbacks with the bigger companies your seeing more and more over qualified IT and IS people working in call centers and help desk positions. Entry level positions are becoming less applicable because there are plenty of 3-5+ experienced people with certificates and degrees looking for jobs. If your serious about getting in the IT, IS, or programing world right now and want the best bang for your buck, Do your own research online, study up as much as you can on a particular exam, then go to whats called a boot camp. Its basically a 2 day to 2 week cram class, and at the end you get to take the exam if you pass your certified if not you get a re-try. Here is a quick one I found http://www.intenseschool.com/schedules, but by all means do your own research.... Depending on your learning preference you can take online classes but if your very new you'd want to go to the class and have the ability to get hands on training and ask as many questions as you can.
  19. Now I guess the end decision will be made by the judge of the event... From what I've over heard as long as they don't break any other rules as far as mounting and positioning they are legal IE don't build a pod in the center of your dash... Thats just what I could find with a quick search of the rules.
  20. I also live in Indiana... There are a few of us on here from the Crossroads But to answer the question I've never seen the red jeep with SMD logo.
  21. I got a BNIB Ohio Gen 270a for 200 bucks from a guy I know that bought 4 but then decided to switch brands before his build even got started. I can see if he has anymore at that price you cover shipping and gas to get to his store and I will ship it to you? Very easy... loosen tensioner then remove 2 bolts, pry alittle bit, and then bolt new one up and put belt back on. A good battery will help but in your case the big 3 should yield better bang for the buck.
  22. I think your engine bay is identical to mine... Really easy to do the big 3 Read some tutorials on here and take notes I noticed almost immediately the benefits of the big 3... I really didn't notice an audible difference after the big three or the battery replacement, really didn't notice until I added the big odyssey battery in the back
  23. Big three does help alot... on my Avalanche it helped a ton with stock battery I would think your alt would be the 105amp it was the most comon I would suggest you do the big 3 first then get a new replacement battery
