rfbasshead Posted February 1, 2014 Author Report Posted February 1, 2014 Ok so I had my alternator and battery checked this morning and my battery's bad so it looks like I'm in the market for a battery. I was originally going to get an optima yellow or red top but as I was reading people were talking pretty bad on optima..ti was reading that a duralast gold is just as good if not better...I'm only going to have this ONE battery so it's a starting battery firsts. Ps I'd figure I'd try asking on my og thread before starting a new one.

This one came out after the duralast golds were out and I think they are pretty good. This advice is also based on the fact that you said it was all good before. Given that you have a bad battery, replace it with an AGM battery(xs/duralast platinum/optima) and you should be good.
