Every time I have built a new enclosure I have learned more and more. I really enjoy building them. heard a ton of good stuff about those Ethos subs. osiris10012 Posted July 10, 2014 Author Report Posted July 10, 2014 Well I figured out a solution to my slanted floor issue. I made a 2"x18" strip to act as kind of a foot for the base of the enclosure. This strip lifted the front of the enclosure just enough. I did a test fit before I cut the piece and made it look decent. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it get the enclosure closer to the folded up seat, but it also made it more stable. Plus I gained an 1" of clearance to the back of my seat. Now I have 5" of clearance. Sorry I didn't take a pick of the test fit but here is one of the piece installed. I will get a pic of how it sits in the truck after the glue dries.

I am having a very difficult time finding a larger battery that will work. I think I may have found a diehard platinum marine battery that I can make work. Not positive though. I would need to go to sears and take measurements.

As soon as I get my amp running at 1 ohm I am pretty certain I will get voltage drop. Right now the lowest I have seen on my dmm was a 13.4 running full tilt IIRC, but I am currently only running around 600 rms. I think the d3100 up front combined with my stock 150a alternator and 1/0 big 3 should be more than enough for 1800w.

I had a Stock 110a and a D3400 with a big 3 and my whole car ran better even with my system which was a RF T1500bdcp & T600-2!
