bbeljefe Posted February 3, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2014 newer trucks have deeper beds and taller back panel.. mine is a 1994 chevy and most i can cut is 12' in height.. maybe a bit more but will be making the panel weak since i wont have much metal and my back window flex like crazy as it is True that man. I wasn't thinking about the year model of your truck. You'd need a steel brace around the bed cut and the best box for that application would be a 4th order, since the cut would only have to be the port area. You could also use a couple of 15s in a box like that. I had AP/SPL 10s awhile back and I thought yea bigger box that would like since it was lower power....wrong they liked the smaller box for who the fuck knows why.
