Krakin Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 A properly designed and built sealed or ported box will give you a great sound, however you can generally have a larger bass shelf when you design through ported. If you are new to building a box, you may want to try a sealed to start with. Just so that you can get your feet wet with designing and building. If you want to change in the future, boxes cost hardly anything to rebuild.
