DubNDodge Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 volume. take the inner dimensions of your box. for instance if your box is 22x 20x 18 and you are using .75" thick mdf your new dimensions are. 21.25x19.25x17.25 multiply those together. = 7056.3 now that is cubic inches. to get it into cubic feet you divide by 1728 (12x12x12) = 4.08 cuft gross. now you need to factor in your port volume. then you have your net volume. which is the 5.00 or 6.00. the 18" was referring to port length. 80 sq in was referring to port area. (length x width) there is a program you can download on here to help you get started. it is called torres. if you do a site search you can find it fairly easy.
