5:1 what?

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

Hammerdown... 1%

ratio of what? The wave length? Then you're not using 1/4 wave theory anymore and are going to have poor results with anything other than a closing taper or stepped chambers.

Is it okay to make a T-line with 20 hz tuned and putting a sub with a FS of 30 hz ???

It means using these parameters.

1130 / 20(HZ) = 56.5 ft

56.5 / 4 = 14.125 ft long.

Sd = 1210 cm2 = 187.5 sq inch port area.

I am doing right ????

LBM - Yes, you can tune to whatever frequency you want.

87 regal, You taper like a horn. Either opening slowly from beginning to end, or closing slowly from beginning to end. What ratio are you talking about if its not tapering or frequency?

Tapering of the cross sectional area. I looks like most people in here are doing constant area t-lines. Usually more wood to cut, and can be a pain in the ass to fit the magnet.

turn the sub mount 45 degrees to the right for added fun :)
