I was wondering if it is possible to have to it once you login, it pops up saying you have x of amount messages only if they are unread. It's a free plugin, and requires little to no setup other thank installing it. It makes mobile browsing much more manageable, and adds push notifications for new PMs and subscribed threads. I personally like Tapatalk because it allows me to keep all my forums in one place, accessible by only a tap, instead of screwing around with the browser. Unlike the browser, Tapatalk will keep you logged in indefinitely, and as push notifications (including PMs, subscribed threads, and the admins can even send out custom Push Notifications from the Tapatalk admin panel) Yes, you could get these notifications via email, but I personally don't like getting forum notifications that way. There's also the fact that a lot of email providers will auto-sort forum emails into spam, if you get enough of them. Simple, elegant design and easy searching are also some plus sides. The one big complaint everyone used to have is that Tapatalk was $2 for the app. That is solved now, as the app is free, as well as the forum-side installation.
