Exscathe
I would not take any help you could even offer after saying that a bad RCA could cause one woofer to do something different than the other when each are recieving the same signal. Good one.
n8ball2013
actually it can. But of course I'm not quite on your level. After all my woofers all work. Exscathe
we were trying to pinpoint the issue. we cant do that without you coperating. if you woul dhave said one sub was used more then the other in the first post. this would have been done in maybeee 2 pages I said I thought that it would not have made a difference and the amount of time one was played vs the other was very minimal, they were barelty played because I sold the amp I had them on. I could not do what people wanted me to because it was 10pm at night and I was not about to go into -20 celsius and rewire it like the series diagram and play it full blast to see if it made a difference. I did take multiple advice people gave me and I tried it. Total Advice Taken: - Meter the coils. - Pop Test. - Examine drivers to make sure polarity is the same. - Check wiring again. - Meter total load after wiring. Exscathe
So tell me how two subs wired in series can play differently based on an RCA issue when both subs are recieving the EXACT same signal?
n8ball2013
now why would I want to go and teach you anything? fox_racin4
you pop tested the subs with a AA or AAA battery... did they even move?! 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
Exscathe
You cannot give me a reasonable answer as to why this would happen because it cannot happen, yet you would not admit you are wrong. Subs recieving the same signal assuming both drivers are the exact same in every way, will play identically.
Exscathe
Go test your subs on a AAA battery, watch it move, it moves very little but it does move and I have already ruled out reverse polarity as an option to this issue. It was the closest battery I had at hand and it worked for polarity testing. Not about to pop test with a 12V batt.
