Not trying to threadjack just trying to pose a question that might also help the threadstarter. Could you just run the amp grounds back to the battery and avoid and chance of groundloop feedback?

i had this same question but about having a battery in the trunk. if you have a battery in the trunk cant u run your amp grounds off the battery in trunk ?

give your replay a wire straight from the batt, hook your remote and a ground to the switch part on relay. and last part goes to amp. gives the amp your battery power and not just a 12v remote, then when your shut off your car, your remote volts drop making the noise possibly.

if the car doesn't stall, you have enough voltage.
