alaskanzx5
I'm sure you could at least sell them and find 2 more to buy. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. CleanSierra
So, here is what I came up with: Double baffled with center port. Tune is around 33 Hz, net airspace is right at 5 cubes(just a hair under if you want to add a little bracing). Port area is 58", which should be enough for those subs and the Xmax being what they were. Those are all of the important parts I can think of at this time. Here are the dimensions of what I came up with. All of the inner dimensions are 14.5" in height for ease of cutting and measuring. Bottom and top 37X23" Sides 14.5X21.5" Front baffle 14.5X16.5" Inner baffle 14.5X15" Back 14.5X37" Port extensions 18.25X14.5" with a 45 degree out of the edge to help with airflow but is not necessary I also have dividers in the port that are nearly 3" on long side and around 1.5" on short side. Each side of the cut will have a 45 degree cut so they match up flush with the back wall as well as each other. Any questions, just ask. If you want to tweak the box, give me time, these things take a little while to get worked up. I wouldn't recommend overpowering the subs AT all in this box, as it's on the large side of what would be recommended and I wouldn't want you to lose mechanical control by over-driving the subs wit too much power. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra
Crap, I forgot to mention, the overall dimensions of the box are 37 wide, 16" tall, and 23" deep. Sorry for forgetting that but now you have it. I also wanted to add this for you, in case you were curious. This is the spec sheet on your subs. Yours are the RFR3112s: Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
alaskanzx5
Lol, Nah those dimension don't matter. I mean who needs to know them in order to build the box. Just slap some plywood together and call it a day. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. CleanSierra
Haha, well the diagram was pretty self explanatory. Like all 60s have to do is add the measurements or look at the bottom piece for width and depth. That box should sound pretty mean and be good for lows. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
truthsayer
If you have the room for two 15'' Hcca's, i dont jnow why you wouldn't run those. truthsayer
CleanSierra
This could be part of the reason: They are minty. Here are the HCCAs: I'd personally go with the nice 4" coil, minty looking Fosgate. I can't see the detail on the condition of the Orions but I know the condition of the RFs look great and I'd trust running them. The HCCAs look like they've had more use to me, and if so, we may be taking about sagging, dried up spiders and surrounds. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. MyimpalaFinLBS
Thanks a million for the design...I'll be starting that one of these weeks my employer Nis gracious enough to let me work less than 60 hours. Also, as for the reason I'm not going to run the HCCA's is because its a trunk build and my skill level isn't there to be building inside the trunk. But they are mint as well....never seen more than 750 watts and have always been ran in a sealed enclosure.
