99blazer Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Im building a box for 3 old mtx road thunder 10. the box I have planned out is 3.23 cuft gross. and the port I was thinking 2.25 inches high and 10 wide and 10 inches in dept. after everything it would be 3.02 cuft with 22.5 sq inches of port with a tuning of 36hz. would this be ok for the these subs? 08 Ford F150

timc31610 Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Without knowing the exact model it difficult to say. If it is the MTX RTS10-04 MTX recommends 2 ft3 per sub ported. And like agf144 said you need more port. Closer to twice what you have listed. 99blazer Posted February 25, 2014 Author Report Posted February 25, 2014 the model is rt10-4. mtx recommends .8 cuft per sub and they recommend circular ports but I don't have access. and with the calcs it has more port area than the recommended 08 Ford F150
