Marcus Paradis Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 So when your running more then one mid and high amp can I y split the back and front RCA?? If running a 6channel rca off a kenwood deck And still get the same voltage to the amp(in the RCA) and be fine??? I'm running 2sets of Alpine type r components in ever door=8 speakers! Off 2alpine Mrx f65 Already installed 4 type r's 12's off 2 mrx 240's

Marcus Paradis Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Posted February 27, 2014 Thx much appreciated!!!
Marcus Paradis Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Posted February 27, 2014 Is that the only way I could do it??
kirill007 Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Is that the only way I could do it?? There are a few options: -split the RCA's -get a HU with more outputs -get a amp where you can loop the RCA's though (internally splitting the signal) -... It's the cheapest option though, which works as good as the other options. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Marcus Paradis Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Posted February 27, 2014 I want the best quality not cheapest wats a hu? Head unit?
Rich Schenk Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Or you could buy a audio control matrix plus that would give you more outputs and boost signal up to 13 volts for your rcas On 3/28/2014 at 4:22 PM, KyLar96 said: Its all about the music anyway..... kirill007 Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Or you could buy a audio control matrix plus that would give you more outputs and boost signal up to 13 volts for your rcas And what use would that have? No use at all in his case, you waste money, add complexity to the install which means more mistakes can be made, more noise is introduced in the signal, signal gets distorted,... Especially the 13V is useless since not a lot of amp accept that much voltage. (not even talking about that it won't reach 13V) Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Ritch40 Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 in the past any time i have used splitters i generally will add a line driver to the system to help keep the voltage going to the amps up. they arent real expensive at all and if you use a little restraint will do a real nice job for you.

They are really expensive, because they are useless, unless you have a 1volt deck and atleast 4 splitters. Only thing they'll do for you is introduce more noise/distortion in the signal.
